Two Cents Worth/Flynn

The primary objective of this book is to present as many die varieties of Two Cent doubled dies, repunched dates, overdates, and clashed dies. Each variety includes detailed photographs, a description, diagnostics, and pricing. This book also presents a detailed die state analysis which refuted the 1869/8 overdate and also refuted the 1865/4 overdate. Evidence and overlays of the 1865 Plain/Fancy 5 date punch is presented. An analysis is also presented on the number of proof coins struck between 1864 and 1873. This was the author’s first work and still one of his favorite series.
