Barber Half Dollar Varieties Flynn

The primary purpose of this book was to list as many die varieties for the Barber Half Dollar series as possible. There are many new doubled dies, misplaced dates, repunched mintmarks, and repunched dates which have never been published in any other book.
The secondary purpose of this book was to provide an analysis of all three of the Barber series: A date-by-date analysis for all three denominations including pricing history, scarcity analysis, mintages, population counts, and comments. All which are useful in learning about the coins you are purchasing. In addition, this section also explores world history during that time period as our coins are part of that history; All hub changes for all three denominations including detailed photos and analysis; An in-depth study on the history of the series, including archive research from the National Archives; A hot topics section which will include a study on questionable die varieties such as the 1893/2 Barber dime, and other highly publicized topics in these series such as the 1894-S Barber dime, 1905 Micro O mintmark Barber dime, and 1892 Micro O Barber half dollar; Letters from the National Archives show why the design was chosen, who decided on the designs used, and many other facts never before published.
